Utopia Planitia building Galaxy-Class Starship (Overhead-View Simulation)
Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards is the Federation and Starfleet's starship development and manufacturing facility. The facility orbits the planet Mars (Sol IV). The ASDB Integration Facility unit of Utopia Planitia is located on the planet surface. The ASDB is Starfleet Command's Advanced Starship Design Bureau. The ASDB defines many of the specifications for prototype starships. The Utopia Planitia engineers use these specifications to build a prototype starship, from which production starships are then built.
