Plot Synopsis

After his laptop computer is stolen, Will meets a sociable police detective who takes a special interest in his case as they go undercover — but Will doesn't know that the gumshoe is secretly participating in Jack's therapy group for gays. Elsewhere, Grace is again hassled by her psycho neighbor Val who opens a rival design business and prospers by stealing Grace's ideas.

The song Will and Gavin danced to at the club was "Get Ur Freak On" by Missy Elliott. They then slow danced, while Jack sang along, to Minnie Riperton's "Lovin' You."
The title is a play off of "Fatal Attraction," which starred Michael Douglas and also Glenn Close, who appears in the next episode, "Hocus Focus".
Both Michael Douglas and Glenn Close were nominated for Emmy awards for Outstanding Guest Actors for their appearances on "Will & Grace".
Louis Giovanetti, credited here as "Cop", played Officer Bob in episode 3.04 "Girl Trouble".
