Synopsis
Kovin, an alien arms merchant, is on board the U.S.S. Voyager to barter his impressive array of weapons with Captain Janeway. As installation of the weapons will require a reconfiguration of the U.S.S. Voyager's schematics, Janeway orders Seven of Nine to assist Kovin. Seven complies, if only to get back into Janeway's good graces after their recent disagreements. However, an altercation between Seven and Kovin brings the Captain to believe Seven is once again non-cooperative — until The Doctor makes a discovery about Kovin and Seven.

- Seven begins working on decrypting the message from Starfleet Command.
- Seven claims Kovin attacked her, removed her ocular implant, and extracted Borg nanoprobes through her assimilation tubules. The evidence was inconclusive, and it appears that it was an accidental discharge and the memory was probably from when she witnessed others being assimilated as a Borg drone. Or was it...?
- Michael Horton also played Lieutenant Daniels, the Enterprise-E security chief in Star Trek First Contact and Star Trek Insurrection. (He wasn't named until Insurrection.)
