Notes- The planet Kenfori houses a former Federation bioengineering research facility. The planet was taken by the Klingons during the war, but is now in the restricted zone between Federation and Klingon space.
- The planet's remaining Klingon and Human inhabitants have turned into flesh eating zombies.
- The title is a reference to the Korean zombie movie Train to Busan and Dawn of the Dead actor Ken Foree.
- Bytha is the daughter of Dak'Rah. She has been tracking M'Benga since the death of her father. She was going to kill her father to restore their family's honor, but M'Benga beat her to it. M'Benga admits he assassinated Dak'Rah and it was not in self-defense ("Under the Cloak of War").
